The PE and Sport Premium is extra funding given to primary schools in England to improve the quality of physical education and sport for all pupils. It is allocated to develop teachers’ confidence and competence through CPD, enabling them to offer more opportunities for pupils to participate - promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.
We believe that PE is an essential part of a child’s education. PE, school sport, and physical activity benefit both their physical and mental health, and help to develop resilience, confidence, and self-esteem. The Chief Medical Officers guidelines state that all young people aged 5-18 years should aim for an average of at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity, per day across the week.
We provide a fun and inclusive environment where pupils can develop their skills, challenge themselves and work collaboratively.
