Nursery

Your child can start Nursery in the term after they turn three-years old and their place is completely FREE for 15 funded hours. For eligible parents we can also offer 30 funded hours.

Nursery Sessions

AM Sessions: 8.30am - 11.30am

PM Sessions: 12.15pm - 3.15pm

Full Day - 30 Hours: 8.30am - 3.15pm

How to Apply

Please contact the school office at office@orchardmeadow.org if you are interested in signing your child up to nursery, they will be able to talk you through the process and provide you with an admissions pack.

We have three intakes each academic year, September, January and April dependent on your child's date of birth.

Best Start In Life

You must apply for your code by the end of the month before the new term starts, otherwise you will not be able to access your funding for that term.

Lunch and Snacks

For all full time children, we offer a hot school meal for £2.80 per day, this must be paid in advance using our system Arbor.

During the day we offer all nursery children fresh fruit, vegetables and milk daily at no additional cost. 

Wraparound Care and Additional Sessions

Wraparound care is available for families of nursery children, we offer a breakfast club daily from 7.45am until 8.30am for £2.40 per day, this must be booked and paid for in advance via Arbor. 

For families who are entitled to the universal 15 hours per week, we can offer additional sessions charged at £6.93 per hour, these must be booked and paid for in advance. Please note that this is dependent on availablity so please speak to the nursery staff to check for availablity.
