School Lunches

At Orchard Meadow, we believe very strongly that every child should be provided with meals that are wholesome and locally sourced, exciting children as well as giving them the nutrition they need.

We give children a balanced choice of eating what they are familiar and happy with, alongside gentle temptation to try new things. We think food should be seasonal wherever possible and we source and use food from our own allotments when we can.

To pay for school meals via Arbor please use the following link: https://login.arbor.sc/

Once logged in select meals and top up your child's account. Money will be automatically deducted only on the days your child has selected to have a school meal. The cost of a school meal is £2.80 per day.

Dietary Requirements

If your child requires a medical diet due to a diagnosed food allergy, diagnosed food intolerance or a medical condition requiring an adapted menu (e.g. carbohydrate count for Type 1 Diabetes), please follow this link to request a medical diet. For further support, please refer to the following document: ‘Medical Diet Menus – A Guide for Parents, Guardians & Carers’.

All medical diet requests must be supported with medical evidence. This must be in the form of a letter which clearly outlines your child’s food allergies/ intolerances, and must be from a medical Doctor, Dietitian or Specialist Nurse.

Kindly note, you DO NOT need to make a request for dietary preferences, or for the following diets: vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian or halal, as these requirements can be met through our standard menu.
